My___on Mondays Guidelines Agreement & Artist Materials
PROMPT
My___on Mondays explores the possessive “My” through narratives, art and sound.
Every Monday, we publish a new audio, performance or experimental piece where only one rule applies: the title must begin with the determiner “My”.
We invite artists, performers and storytellers worldwide to submit their unique approach and perspectives to this concept.
GUIDELINES FOR ARTISTS
Open to All Art Forms: Submissions are open to all. No previous experience is necessary. My___ on Mondays welcomes all art forms, including literature, music, performing arts, experimental work, and more, as long as it can be incorporated into an audio piece.
Audio Recording: Audio works may be created independently if a quality recording can be produced. If needed, recording studio time with the My___ on Mondays Program Director, Matt Bunk, can be arranged. Audio submissions should be in MP3 format. Other formats must be approved in advance.
Copyright & Source Material: Episodes featuring content that is not original (i.e., taken from other sources) must be copyright-free. The source of any non-original material must be cited in the written episode description. This also applies to images that are used for promotion of the episode.
Duration: All pieces must be at least 7 minutes long and no longer than 1 hour.
Artist Earnings: Artist participation includes an Artist Membership at MING Studios.
Publicity & Repurposing: MING Studios reserves the right to publicize and republish episodes. Episodes may also be used in applications for funding.
