MING Studios Artist in Residency Application
Thank you for your interest in MING Studios' Artist in Residency Program.
MING Studios invites artists from around the world to apply for our International Artist Residency. Applications are reviewed by a committee of MING Studios representatives.
Residencies are held in Boise, Idaho, and typically span one to three months. Each residency concludes with a solo exhibition showcasing the artist’s research and work developed during their time at MING Studios. As part of the program, artists are required to host at least one public event—this may take the form of an artist talk, workshop, community dinner, or studio visits with local artists and audiences.
MING Studios provides studio space, materials, living accommodations, an artist fee, transportation, and access to tools and equipment necessary for the artist’s project. Applicants are also recommended to seek additional funding or grants available in their home countries to further support their work.
For questions about the residency or application process, please contact [email protected].
Selected artists will receive a residency contract to review and sign upon acceptance into the program.
